Losing drafts, and media uplaod errors

I have been having a terrible time with my wordpress account for a couple weeks now. I could go a whole day without being to upload media. Constant error messages, try again later. To compound this issue my drafts aren’t saving properly so I need to leave the window open in order to wait out the errors and sometimes my draft is still gone. This happened again today. Even if I save the draft it is saving a former version of it. help!

I’m so sorry for the trouble! Do you happen to know the exact error messages you’re getting when you try to upload media or save your drafts? If you can copy and paste those error messages in your reply here, that will help me better understand what’s going wrong and investigate this for you.

Hi, I will have to wait until I get the error message again. As far as the draft saving goes, no error message occurs. I click save and it saves an older version. sometimes it will prompt me later and say we have a newer version would you like to restore it. It is completely random.
If I could sit down in one session and finish up this wouldn’t be a problem but that unfortunately doesn’t happen that often. Thanks -

Do you ever have the editor open in multiple browser windows or tabs at the same time? That can sometimes cause trouble, for example if a different draft is open in another window at the same time. Also, have you ever tried using a different browser to see if the same issue happens there?
I’ll investigate to see if I can reproduce the problem you described, and it’ll help me to have as many details you can remember about when this happens.
