Lost access to our Content Management System

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello, we are trying to gain access to our CMS. Our old marketing employee with all the login information has sense left the company, and the login credentials he provided (e.g. login in at enterprisecoworking.com/wp-admin) are not working. It says his email address is no longer associated with the account. He did let us know that he invited a KatieV@enterprisecoworking to be admin before he left and disconnected his email, however she never got that email. Additionally, we’ve found that this site is hosted on HubSpot, and that we used the wordpress.org option to set it up. That said, we really need to gain access to make changes to the site via the Content Management System. If there is ANYTHING you can do to help us get back into our website so we can make the changes we need we would really appreciate it! We are just at a total loss at this point. Lastly, my name is Jade Cutler (my email is (email visible only to moderators and staff)), and I am the new marketing person who will also need acces to this site as well.
Thank you in advance for your help!

    Site: enterprisecoworking.com.
    WP.com: Unknown
    Jetpack: Unknown
    Correct account: Unknown

  • Hey Jade! I wish I could help more with this, but this site is not hosted here on our service. It’s using a copy of WordPress instead, with another hosting service provider:
    https://get.wp.com

From what you’ve described, it might make sense to have the email admin check for the password reset emails, especially if the previous admin was using a company email address.

If that doesn’t work, as your host to make a backup and help with this:
    https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/

Then, if you need more help, head to to the forums for self-hosted sites at https://wordpress.org/support , since these forums are for the free sites hosted here at WordPress.com.

Hoping that can help you get on the right track. Good luck!
