Lost access to WordPress account after Google account closure
-
Hello, I am unable to access my WordPress.com account because the Google account I used to log in was permanently closed by Google without any detailed explanation. As a result, I have lost access to my domain management panel. I have domains registered through WordPress.com whose renewal dates are approaching, and I am at risk of losing them. I have already: – Submitted an account recovery form – Sent an email to passwordhelp@wordpress.com – Provided a valid transaction ID as proof of ownership I want to confirm: is there anything else I can do to speed up the process? Has anyone been through a similar situation and successfully recovered their account? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out! Dealing with a suddenly closed Google account is a difficult situation, especially with your domain renewals approaching.Since you have already filled out the official Account Recovery form and provided a valid Transaction ID, you have completed the necessary steps to prove ownership of the domain and account. This information goes directly to our specialized Account Recovery team, who possess the required security clearance to manually verify your details and update your account records securely.
Important next steps to consider:
- Monitor your inbox and spam folders: Please regularly check the backup or contact email address you provided when filling out the recovery form, as the team will reach out to you directly through that channel.
- Avoid submitting duplicate requests: Submitting multiple forms can create duplicate tickets in the system, which may unintentionally delay processing times. It is best to wait for a response to your initial request.
Because this is a public forum, please do not post your specific transaction IDs or personal billing details here to protect your security. Our account recovery team will process your verification request as quickly as possible to ensure your domain assets remain secure.
Providing the transaction ID is the correct administrative path forward, and the recovery team will guide you through the rest of the authentication process as soon as your ticket is reviewed.

Thank you for the guidance. I should mention that I accidentally submitted the recovery form multiple times before seeing this advice. Could you please flag my case so the team is aware and can consolidate my requests? My contact email is (email visible only to moderators and staff).
