Lost Account

    Hi,

    I need some help. I purchased a domain from wordpress, I have the paypal receipt.

    I did not receive a confirmation email from wordpress, for that purchase, or for my blog being set up.

    I then started using bluehost, and have been setting up my site on a temporary domain until my wordpress one could be transferred. I’m using the bluehost wordpress installation.

    Now I need to update the name servers, but I cannot access my wordpress account at all. It says that it doesn’t exist. I’m really not sure what to do. I tried the account recovery form, but it says this:

    ‘We could not find an account that matches your login. Please check your spelling. Note that we can only provide support for WordPress.com accounts – do not use this page for your own WordPress.org blog.’

    I am having to use different login details to post on the forums as I can’t access the account I want to use. What should I do next?

    Please excuse me for bumping my own thread, but I wanted to add more details as I am really blocked here.

    This is what I purchased from wordpress(via paypal):

    Domain Mapping for http://pixelmythbattle.wordpress.com
    Domain Registration – pixelmythbattle.com mapped to http://pixelmythbattle.wordpress.com

    I can see that the site exists by navigating to it. But if I try to use these domains in the account recovery form, it says that the account doesn’t exist :(

    I briefly used wordpress interface, but after doing some research I decided to get webhosting, and I haven’t been able to access my wordpress account since.

    Like I said previously, I didn’t get any email confirmation from wordpress, trying to reset my password doesn’t work as it says the account doesn’t exist.

    If anyone has any ideas I would be massively grateful!
