lost admin access

  I have a membership website (Wishlist member plugin), and I changed the membership levels on my account, not thinking it would affect my administrator role. Now, when I login, I am no longer an administrator and do not have access to the admin dashboard. This is crucial, I need access asap. How do I get access back as an administrator.

  I got it figured out with a temporary WordPress admin account from my website host. Thank you.

  I have the exact same challenge with my website right now.
  The Website URL is https://enugumetro.com.
  Issue: I installed a membership plugin (WP Membership), subsequently changed membership levels that affected my admin status; I’m no longer able to access the WP dashboard nor edit the site.
  I haven’t been able to figure out what to do and I need help, asap.

  Hi shikeaguma – Your site is hosted by GoDaddy not WordPress.com. It’s running the other version of WordPress which is the open source WordPress.org software. Help with that comes from https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
