Lost Admin Access

  I’ve seem to lost admin privileges to a wordpress site I’m managing. I still can access it, but am now only a contributor. Other users seem to have lost access completely. Anyone know what could be going on and how I can get back access?
  (Nothing has been changed on the site, so if it’s been hacked, it was a bit of a useless endavour)

  Hi there,

  The owner of that site changed your user role to Contributor about a month ago. As owner of the site they have that right, and only they can reinstate you as an admin, so you’ll need to contact them directly for help with this.

  We can only change your role on the site if the site owner requests it.
