  I’m new to wordpress and had set up a personal blog and another under my business vitalityretreat.wordpress.com – the business one isn’t listed in my account but the account name is taken. I have no idea where it’s gone and wondered whether there was a way to get it back?

  Just log-in using a username that has rights to that blog

  I tried that before – it let me login but wouldn’t give me access to the dashboard?

  1) are you the only user of that blog?

  2) are you sure you set it up under this account, or did you create another one, with a different email?

  If a blog is not listed for your account then that account does not have privileges at that blog – you need to use a different account that has privileges to the blog you want to work on – you might have registered the blog with a different user name

  I’ve gone through every name I could possibly have set it up under. I think the problem arose when I had trouble logging in on my ipad and created a new blog expecting it to be under my account but now I can’t find it.

  raincoaster – yes I am the only user of the blog and I only use the one email so don’t think I’d have set it up under another?

  That blog is owned by a i[…] (at) vitality-retreat.co.uk email address. Do you have access to that email address?
