  I have logged into my WordPress account to look at starting a blog I registered some years ago. Whilst I am, apparently, able to post to the blog, WordPress does not list it on the ‘My Sites’ link. Can anyone help with this, am I being utterly dim and have missed something obvious?

  And the URL of the site in question starting with http:// is ___________?

  Are you referring to https://acmepolitics.wordpress.com/ ?

  It could be that you have more than one username account and the blog is registered under another one.

  You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.

  Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden

  If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
  follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibility

  If you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  Your last resort for obtaining access is to complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery with as much information as possible and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

  Thank you very much for your reply. I appear to have found it, I think…

  Really appreciate your coming back to me on this issue. I will have a run through your list and ensure it all looks right. Not sure what is going on but I am now able to gain access to the admin of the blog, just not from the wordpress mainpage. Odd.

  Hello,
  I started a blog, ‘english13.wordpress.com’, some time ago but haven’t posted for a while. However, now I when click on ‘manage all my sites’ I see that the name registered there is ‘englais13.wordpress.com’ and thus can’t find the dashboard to my previous posts. Note the ‘franglais’ in that address – maybe an error I previously made, I don’t know, but I would like to retrieve my blogs on english13.wordpress.com if you can help me. I don’t think I’ve done anything contrary to the terms and conditions to have this account suspended.

  Both https://english13.wordpress.com/, and englais13.wordpress.com exist, though the latter has no content.

  You should be able to log directly into the the dashboard of English 13 here: http://www.english13.com/wp-admin. You might also try https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php, which I’ve used without fail for several years.

  You should be able to log directly into the the dashboard of English 13 here: http://www.english13.wordpress.com/wp-admin.
