Lost blog posts

I took a break from my blogging, but now I cannot find all the posts. Each and every post was created in WordPress, yet only some are there. I would REALLY love to recover all my writing, for now it’s lost. Help! The blog is Universalwomen.net. The host is Blue Host and they have nothing. If I created my posts in WP, how can I recover them?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • I’m sorry, but Universalwomen.net is not hosted at WordPress.com. As such, we are unable to provide any direct assistance in this manner.

The fact that the site may have been built using WordPress, or may mention ‘Powered by WordPress’ (or something similar) simply means it is using the WordPress.org software, which can be downloaded and installed on any web host.

If you’re interested, you can learn more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:

I would recommend getting in touch with your host or domain registrar for support, or checking out these resources if your site was indeed built with WordPress software:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

If you site was hosted at Bluehost, you should still be able to access the content even if the hosting has expired. Was that the case?

Were you moving any of your blog content from the blog you had at Bluehost over to your WordPress.com blog, universalwomen.wordpress.com?

    Best,
