Lost draft content after saving, no revisions or autosave available

Hi everyone, I was working on a draft post titled “10 Uncommon Filipino Words/Terms” on my WordPress.com site (bastagustokomayimnida.wordpress.com) and spent a lot of time writing the content. After accidentally clicking “Save Draft,” most of my work disappeared and only an incomplete version remains. I’ve already tried the following: Checked Revisions none are available Looked for an autosave/restore prompt in the editor none appeared Reopened and refreshed the draft content is still missing Checked other browser tabs and local browser storage nothing found Is there any way to recover the previous version of this draft from the system? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Losing hours of writing on a draft is super stressful, but don’t panic just yet! When clicking Save Draft overwrites your latest changes without logging a revision, it usually means a temporary connection hiccup prevented the client-side editor buffer from syncing fully with the server, or the REST API autosave heartbeat timed out mid-session. Even if standard Revisions aren’t displaying in the post sidebar, WordPress.com maintains automated database snapshots and server-side post-shadow history in the backend that can often be restored.
