lost my password and can’t rememver my recovery email

  I have owned my account (mokayaker) for 15 years or so. Maybe more. This was before two-factor authentication. This was before I remembered to do a recovery email change. I got logged out somehow and I think the recovery email is at my old job which is now gone.
  
  I have tried to reach out to wordpress, to recover my password, to get in, to contact them and it’s virtually impossible to get anywhere. I have several sites, mostly inactive, on this account. I just want to get into my active account (agudasachim.wordpress.com)
  
  Is this impossible? Do I have to start over completely? I’m getting nowhere.
