Lost phone. Google authentificator. No log in possible

  Dear all,

  I lost my phone and so I could not migrate the autentificator to my new phone. Now I can not log in into my WordPress site. Can you help?

  I don’t know what to do next. If I can’t fix this, it would be a catastrophe

  That’s the moment you need your backup codes you got when you set up 2FA. Just type in one of those backup codes en off you go.

  I got it. I logged in over WordPress.com. There was no 2factor and I could deactivate the authenticator.
