Lost website

Someone else build my friend’swebsite . That person died in December. So now, the website is down (my friend worked on it about 3 weeks ago, but now, nothing…) . The domain name is for sale (www.danicabio.com) !!!!! She wants it back! ( she paid the girl in december for the yearly renewal!!!) and have no acces to the website anymore.
My friend needs to get her domain name back so I can build here a new website. -

The site danicabio.com appears to be a self-hosted WordPress (also called “.org”) site hosted on GoDaddy Web Hosting, and not a site hosted on our WordPress.com service.

To clarify, we are not the only providers of WordPress sites, and GoDaddy also happens to offer WordPress sites, but they use a different version of the platform than what we use here.
