Lost website

  I had a website last year for my university studies and now I have logged into the same account but I cannot actually see my site anywhere, I also cannot recall the specific URL. I was wondering if the site has been deleted and if so if there’s any way to recover it?

  I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

  Your account qitayo doesn’t have a site linked on the wordpress.com platform. Without knowing the URL of that site, we can’t help you.

  I have now found the url thanks to my tutors and it is: https://p2524281.our.dmu.ac.uk/

  Thanks for the URL! That site is not hosted by us at WordPress.com. It uses the WordPress.org software and is hosted elsewhere.

  There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it well: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.

  We can provide support for WordPress.com sites on this forum. For WordPress.org sites, you will need to get in touch with the hosting company for help with logging in if you aren’t able to log in to the site. You can try resetting the password at this link: https://our.dmu.ac.uk/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword – but if it doesn’t work, you’ll need to contact the hosting service provider. Do you know who is hosting your site?
