Lost WordPress Site

  • Unknown's avatar

Win10 locked me out of my computer after uninstalling an antivirus program and I had to reset my entire computer. While I kept all my files, all passwords and web favorites were lost. I went on WordPress, put in my email and password and wound up on a page I must have started with but somehow never used (cpgen.wordpress.com).

The one I have been using is cpgenblog.wordpress.com.

Two things. First, how do I get back to cpgenblog? (I somehow got there last night but now can’t get back) and second, is there a way to transfer what I have already created/posted from cpgenblog to cpgen?

    Help!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

cpgenblog.wordpress.com belongs to the username, centuriesofprogressgenealogy.

Log out of this account and clear your browser cache and cookies. Then go to the password reset form and enter that username. That will send a password reset link to the correct email address for that account so you can log in again.

If you then want to transfer that site to this account, you can follow the instructions here on how to do that:
