Lost WordPress site access

  Hi, I think I have lost my WordPress site?… its been a while since I have used it (a few years) and have emails referring to ‘Guidopip’s Blog’, but my ‘new’ WordPress site has my account as Guido Pip@guidopip270118 and I cannot see my old wordpress site?… do I need to pay a subscription or something similar to retrieve it (its linked to my email account (email visible only to moderators and staff)).

  Hi there,

  If you’re referring to the site guidopip.wordpress.com, then it is owned by a different WordPress.com account created with the same email address as your current account.

  Although using the same email address with more than one account is not possible on WordPress.com it can be done if you’re using Gmail and you’re adding dots in it. Here’s how that works:

  So, to recover access to the account that owns that site you need to use the password reset tool and enter your email address without the dot.
