Lost/missing stories
-
In August I joined a writers workshop-‘FlashFiction(copywrite sign)Workshop. I saved all of my stories and coments from word press in Outlook under Kath Fish (the teacher). She told us that as of Sept 1st she would be eliminating our FastFlashWorkshop site and we should copy anything we wanted. AI didn’t feel the need because I’d saved everything. Today I went to work on the stories and I’d saved them in the wordpress links and the stories were eliminated when Kathy deleted her site. She did nothing wrong. I misunderstood and now I have no way of getting the stories back. My sign in name is pincusb and my code is pobox609. Can you help me retreive my stories? Thanks you. Paul Beckman

Hi,
You might be able to find them in Google caches or with the Internet Archive Wayback Machine. Were the stories on the teacher’s website (http://www.kathy-fish.com/, a self-hosted WordPress.org site, by the way) or on a separate site? If we’re not talking about a WordPress.com site, then this is the wrong forum.

…and the stories were eliminated when Kathy deleted her site.
Was it a WordPress.com site? If so, what was the website address (URL)?

The URL you gave is incomplete. If you mean https://flashfictionworkshop.wordpress.com/, the site has not been deleted, but its visibility is set to private.
