    Can my amberwire.com domain connected to my old WordPress blog transfer to a new WordPress website I’m building? If I do transfer it, will my old blog still exist, just with the WordPress url? And can certain posts from my other blog transfer to my new blog? do I already have an email address associated with my domain that I can use to set up my new site?

    Hi there,

    I’m not sure I fully understand what you are trying to set up, but I noticed that when I visit amberwire.com it redirects me to amberwire.wordpress.com

    You would consider what I see at amberwire.wordpress.com to be the “old site” yes? What is the “new site” one that you still have yet to set up? Or is it one you are working on now?

    Yes it will be accessible at the wordpress.com address.

    And can certain posts from my other blog transfer to my new blog?

    Yes you can export from one site and import it into another to move your content. This will not move your design (theme) but will move the posts, pages, images, comments, etc.

    do I already have an email address associated with my domain that I can use to set up my new site?

    From what I can tell the domain amberwire.com is registered with another company (enom) based on what I see here: https://gwhois.org/amberwire.com+dns

    You may wish to contact enom and see if they provide a free email address for you to use. We do offer email but it’s an added charge: https://wordpress.com/support/add-email/
