M.E. Calendar – how to remove category

  I have installed the M.E. Calendar plugin and have added this as a widget to the sidebar.
  However it shows a drop down box to select a category, and it display a search dropbox, before it shows the actual events. How do I remove the category section? I cannot find an option to remove the category.
