Mac Desktop App and Sign In with Apple ID

  I created my wordpress.com account using sign-in with Apple ID on my phone. I now want to use the desktop app with my wordpress sites. How do I sign into the Mac Desktop app with my Apple ID?

  Hi there,

  The desktop app doesn’t require any of our passwordless login options at the moment, but it’s on our future roadmap.

  For now, to use the app you’ll first need to set an account password for your account at https://wordpress.com/me/security/

  Then you can log in using your username, nyabwjw44z and password instead.

  Okay. I’ll opt to not use the desktop app for now. I look forward to consistent login options across platforms and apps. Thanks!
