Magic! Wp-Config > ‘Revisions-‘true” changes to ‘Revisions-‘false” & deletes all your auto save points!

9 hours of work yesterday updating just one new page. imagine my surprise when I find after that WP stopped recording revisions around hour 5 mysteriously then turned back on hour 7 to save the last two minus all the days previous changes!
-NO plugins updated. No FTP access either.
-Restoring won’t work because it only backup ever 24 hours. this all happened within 9 hours. It appeared and then disappeared all on its own.10:00am~ Lastest version 9/5/19 -WordPress 5.2.3 Security and Maintenance Release updated
10:00am Divi Theme updates
Saves great! Restore points begin.
Hour 6~ I realize all my day’s work is lost and zero new savepoint revisions are made by WordPress.
Hour 8 ~ WordPress turns saves back on ‘magically’ starts saving again! But not before in a nuclear way wiping out every other save ever over weeks of work!This also means my backup to WP backups in the Divi Theme for each manual changed are nuclear way wiped out also. (Grrrrr)
Hour 9 – 20 Reached out to my hosting company support and Divi support. WPDEV. They say ‘somehow’ within my WP-Config file was accessed and ‘Revisions-‘true” changes to ‘Revisions-‘false” then back again. Divi claims their upgrades don’t touch the wp-Config file but WordPress does.
I’d like my 9 hours of work back WP. My UI was pristine.
Any ideas about what the hell happened? Can I get my saves back because now I only see 2 save points instead of the last 25. Where are they?
