Maicha Theme

Hello – I’m trying to create my website using the Maicha Theme and use the demo but I’m unable to find any of the plugins or the demo so I can change the content. Is this a wordpress.org theme? If so, do I need to have wordpress.org?

The Maicha theme is a wordpress.org theme, https://nl-be.wordpress.org/themes/maicha-blog/; it cannot be used in a free wordpress.com website.

Thanks — so I’m using a Blue host – Choice Plus Web Hosting with a .com website. How do I know if it’s a free wordpress.com website? When I signed up with Blue Host it subtracted the $11.99 for wordpress.com

Hi there, “WordPress” comes in 2 flavors: WordPress.com, the hosted platform (where we are ), and the open source WordPress software that you can download and install on 3rd party hosting, like SiteGround, GoDaddy, Bluehost, etc. Each flavor is a separate entity with different documentation and support forums. If you registered a custom domain with BlueHost that ends with .com, that only means it is a Top Level Domain using the .com extension, like thisismysite.com That doesn’t mean it is a free website hosted here on WordPress.com

How do you know if you have a .com or .org?
When I’m logged into my Blue Host and it takes me to my WP login…I click on the WP logo in the top left hand corner and one of the drop down menus says “wordpress.org” Does this mean I have wordpress.org?
