Mailchimp can’t make connection

  Hi,
  I pasted the Mailchimp connection code in my Mailchimp footer widget but Mailchimp can’t make the connection. Is there something else I should do? Thank you for your help.

  Hi there,

  The Mailchimp pop-up form does not currently work for new connections due to some recent changes on Mailchimp’s end, as explained here:

  If you want to add a Mailchimp subscription form to your site, please add the Mailchimp block to the content of one of your pages instead:

  When I add a block I don’t get the option to search for anything. I have to pick from Media Library, google photos, pexel free photos, @contact form, or pay with paypal. Or just type.

  When I type in /mailchimp it puts /mailchimp in as text when I check the preview.

  That’s because you’re still using the Classic Editor.

  The MailChimp Block only works in the new Block Editor.

  Would you like us to switch you to the new editor?
