Mailchimp pop up issues

  Hello! I am trying to connect my WordPress site to mailchimp. I’ve tried copying and pasting the code from Mailchimp into my widgets like the instructions say but the widget turns gray and the connection can’t be made. Is there an issue with my theme or something else?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, see our Mailchimp support document for more information. The code you pasted above does not look like the code in the example.

  Add a Mailchimp Pop-Up

  I’m sorry, would you mind using this code? I’m not sure why but when I paste this in the MailChimp widget it changes and becomes the code I posted previously.

  That’s not a valid code. Have you read our step-by-step guide on how to obtain that code?

  Yes, I have. I’m not sure why but when I copy & paste the code from Mailchimp’s website the code is different from the original. When I copy and paste the beginning and end of the code disappears. Here I am pasting it again to you. Hopefully it will maintain the original code. Thank you again for all of your help.

  Oh my god, it did it again. As soon as I send the message it removes part of the code.

  The middle of the code is what it keeps on adjusting itself to be:

  Thats exactly what happens when I did mine. I had it working for a moment then it was gone. I put the pasted code in and it would change and be almost half in length.
  I the tried to link my mail chimp to my website but the popup still doesn’t work. I would LOVE some help here. ;(
