Mailerlite Thank You Pop-Up Form

I recently signed up with Mailerlite and I have searched many hours and can’t figure this out. I would appreciate SO much if someone could help me!!
I have a embedded subscribe form on my website and I can’t get the thank you form to pop onto the same page when the subscriber would click the subscribe button. Either it goes to an totally different page or else it stays on the page right where the sign up form was. I want it to pop on and then the subscriber would close it.
