Main Sidebar showing in footer

    Hello

I am using the HUM theme.

I want some widgets on the left hand side of the page and maybe some at the bottom. I think to do this I should add widgets to the Main Sidebar on the Widgets page and also to the optional footers. When I do this however, everything ends up at the bottom of the page. I somehow have my pages listed on the left-hand side of the page (which is actually what I want!!), but I don’t understand how they have got there! I have tried adding creating a Menu as well, but I deleted that because I couldn’t get it to work how i wanted.

I have tried the trouble shooting options for this problem on your layout help page, but I couldn’t find any rogue code.

Please can you help its driving me a bit nutty! :S

    Kind regards

    Julie

That’s actually your default site menu (navigation) and it’s built right into your theme, so it’s not being generated through a widget. :-)

This screenshot shows what you currently have in your widget areas:

There are three more widget areas that you’re not currently using: Showcase Sidebar, Footer Area Two, and Footer Area Three.

If you definitely need widgets on the left-hand side of pages and posts, you may want to look for an alternative to Hum, since that’s not the way it’s designed.

You can read more about Hum’s features here:

If you need further help, just let me know.
