Make admin password public to allow domain transfer to GoDaddy

Having trouble with the following message when trying to transfer domain to GoDaddy.
“To complete this transfer, we need approval of the administrative contact for this domain name. However, the administrative email address obtained from your current registrar is invalid, or could not be obtained.
The current administrative email address is .
After you update the administrative email address on file for this domain at your current registrar, you may reinitiate this transfer.”
Is there anything I can do? I have seen this question here before, but am not sure if it answers my question.

Before you can transfer a domain away from WordPress.com, you need to remove the Private Registration upgrade. We have instructions for removing private registration here:
