Make site private — email provider shut down
-
Hi all, I posted this a while ago but never followed up. Is there someone I can contact to make a site I created 10+ years ago private? Details below – thanks!
___I created a site when I was under 18 more than a decade ago, and there are personal photos on the site that are appearing in Google images searches. I don’t remember the password for the account, and the email provider I signed up with shut down years ago, so I can’t recover anything. It looks like WordPress has a strict policy on account recovery; I am concerned that this blog is being indexed in Google Images, and I can’t find a way to resolve this since since the Account Recovery Form requires proof of ownership.
I have seen in other threads that in lieu of recovering access, a site can be made private so that it is not accessible / indexable by search engines. Is that an option? Thank you for your help.
