making changes to my domain

  I am wondering if I can change my domain from a .blog over to a .com. Is there a price difference in doing so?

  Hi there,

  When you register a custom domain, it’s for a year at a time, and you cannot change a domain once registered.

  So if you want to switch to a .com domain, the only way to do that is to register a new .com domain as an additional domain on your site. Then you can make that the primary domain, and either disable automatic renewal on your .blog domain so it will expire, or cancel the .blog right away. But as it’s long past the 48 hour refund period for domains, you won’t receive any refund for the domain if you cancel it.

  Registering a .com domain costs $18, and it will renew at the same price next year.
