Making Comments

Hello! It has been a nightmare trying to login to WordPress with a new password so I can view another’s blog and posts. Finally after over 1 1/2 hours, it has been done.
Now when I go to this person’s blog, I don’t see an obvious way to make a comment on current or former posts and I am registered with the blog.
I dont have plans of having my own blog, so please don’t suggest that at this time – instead I need this problem resolved so I can participate properly.

I left a message asking how I could make comments on this site (adruidway or thedruidway) I received an email this morning asking me to provide the URL (which I am doing now) but I noticed the email sent to me was ‘no reply’ – so I have to start all over again with this information. I am registered with the blog, but perhaps they are not taking comments although I see people have made them. ?? Tks for your assistance.

Regarding the website, we need the actual site URL of the site you’re trying to leave a comment on. Once we have that information we’ll be able to advise what you can do.

The comment above referring to “The blog I need help with is…” well, the blog name there is not the blog – that keeps coming up should I want to have a blog, which I don’t.

Thank you. A url typically starts with http:// or https:// and often ends in .com or .org. There won’t be spaces.
Can you visit the site, then click in the address bar to get the url, and paste that here?

That site owner has opted to automatically close comments on posts that are more than 30 days old and their most recent post was posted on
2021/10/26, which was nearly a year ago.That’s why you don’t see an option to comment. Once they make a new post, you can leave a comment then.
