Making Featured Image Stationary, page scroll over

  Using the Collective Collaboration theme. How do I make the featured image remain stationary as the page scrolls up over it? (shown this way in theme’s demo – https://collectivedemo.wordpress.com/)
  What CSS coding is needed to do this?

  Hi there, looking at your site, the featured image is fixed and the content scrolls up and over it. The way the theme is designed though, on screen/window widths 1023px and narrower, the scroll up and over behavior is disabled. This is done because on smaller tablets and phones, the only thing you see on the screen is the image and the overlaid title/text so swiping with your finger would not work.
