  hi there i am wondering how to make my blog look like the sample blog?

  I am using the espied theme and can’t figure out how to get the square image boxes as my cover page

  At the WordPress page on the Espied theme, scroll down to section titled Portfolio Page Template and follow the instructions provided there.
