Making my blog private

Hi Team – I’ve changed the settings under reading, site visibility to mark “I would like my site to be private… etc” but I’m still noticing that blog stats show people are viewing it. I was wondering if there’s a way to block someone who is already a follower, or totally ensure that my blog can’t be accessed or seen by anyone other than me.

Your site is marked Private as I was not able to view it, only the notice that it is a Protected Blog and log-in is only available to invited viewers.
When you switch from Public to Private, all previous followers are disconnected from your site unless you invite them. If you are seeing viewers in the stats, then it is your own visits (only your visits are counted in a Private site, unless you have invited viewers.)

That is great to know!! That’s a ton for checking on that and verifying. I had hoped it was the base, but wasn’t 100%. I appreciate your help.
