  Must I purchase the personal plan to make my blog visible to the public?

  Hi there,

  What is the URL of the site you’re trying to launch?

  You don’t need to buy a plan to do that. When you click the Launch Site button and get taken to the page saying pick a domain, look for the Skip Purchase button. If you click that, you’ll see the option to continue with the free plan at the top of the page, above the table listing the different paid plans.
