  Hello, our domain name MaljaBahrain.com has expired over a month ago (the person who used to handle the account never notified us of the reminder emails), and now I’m trying to renew it but it’s considered a ‘taken’ domain name. We urgently need it back because we use it for our emails as well. Is there anything I can do?

  Our records show that maljabahrain.com expired on 21-oct-2016.

  Domain expiration is a lengthy and complicated process that takes about 80 days. During this time, your domain may be put up for auction or sold on back-order.

  The good news is that we may still be able to recover your domain if it has not yet been deleted or purchased by someone else.

  A late renewal fee of $80 will be added to the regular price of renewal. This fee is charged by the domain registry and is not one that we can waive. The total price will be $98, which is $18 for the regular renewal, plus the $80 late renewal fee. If you do not wish to pay the $80 fee, you may let the domain expiration process continue and attempt to register the domain again at the regular price, once it has completely expired.

  Please note that someone else may purchase the domain first, in which case you will be unable to register it again.

  I’m sorry, I accidentally replied from my personal WordPress account. But yes, very much willing to pay the late fee in order to get the domain back as quickly as possible.
