  How do I make all visitors subscribe to my blog? Mandatory Blog Subscriptions.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can set your blog to Private and require everyone to be invited in and registered – but then nobody will find your site – beyond that no – subscriptions can’t be made mandatory even on a .ORG install to my knowledge – if you did a pop-up (which you can’t do here) I would never come back to your site and certainly never use your services or do business with you if I had to register to see your content –

  With a self-hosted blog, there are plugins that would allow you to set the site up to require registration in order to view posts and pages, but as @auxclass says, it isn’t really something that can be done here.

  The problem with registered sites is that if everything is behind that registration, then the search engines do not have anything to index which means your site is not going to show up. What you have to do is to have some stuff that is public and you have to keep adding things to the public side to keep the interest of the search engines, so you end up with two jobs: 1) creating content for the registered side and 2) creating content for the public side.
