Many of pages are suddenly missing!

Hello there.
It’s been a while since I was on this wordpress website of mine, upon returning I notice many of my menu items are listed as invalid, and the pages they linked to are gone! I know I haven’t deleted any of them, so why are they suddenly gone?
I’ve checked to see if they’re still in the pages section, which they’re not, so where are they, and if they’re deleted, can they be restored?

If a menu item is listed as invalid this usually indicates that the page (the menu item was linked to) has been deleted. When a page is sent to the trash we hold it for 30 days so it can be recovered if you wish, but after 30 days it is purged from our system
Is it possible that you added other admins to participate in this site? I can see several invites were sent about 3 years ago, so it is possible that someone else with access to the site may have deleted the pages. In checking our server logs I cannot see in detail what might have happened here as so much time has passed, but we are not able to recover any missing pages at this stage I’m afraid.

That thought of others possibly having been given administrative rights, did occur to me, so I did go to verify if any of the users were given an administrative role, but none have one currently, and I remember not giving them any administrative rights. As I’m the only admin, and they’re only viewers/followers with no rights to edit, change or delete things on the site, how is it possible that those pages are suddenly deleted when I know I didn’t delete those pages, and since none of these users have or had any rights to modify or delete pages? This also makes me worry about what other content I put on it, because if content can suddenly just get deleted but it’s not by a user, then how can I trust that new content I put up, or recreate the content that was deleted, won’t just get deleted in the same way? It’s not just a few pages that apparently have been delete, it much closer to between 50-75% of the content that just gone. Obviously, I would like to know exactly what happened, whether it’s possible that there has been some sort of issue on your end, which could’ve resulted in data loss from your servers (and thus also my site) or if there have been a security breach somewhere. As a note, the site is set to private, so there would be little to almost no reason to target it for something malicious, at least I can’t see why or what they would gain from it.

I wish I could offer you more details, but we do not have them.
We do not delete or modify our user’s content, and also, there weren’t any issues that could specifically remove some of your pages.If you do not remember deleting your content, I’d suggest changing your password and enabling the Two-Factor Authentication to increase the security of your account:

Hm. It’s very odd then, especially because the site is private, so it’s not a site that creates a lot of attention for it self and thus not a site that would be a target.
