Map a domain

  I already paid for mapping an existing domain to my wordpress blog (verduskadotcom.wordpress.com), but it doesn’t work, because I also need the IP address.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It looks like your domain is not pointing to WordPress.com name servers yet:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/?host=verduska.pt

  Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  They won’t let me change the name servers without an IP adress.

  Your blog doesn’t have an individual IP address. Changing the name server records is the only way to fully map a domain to your blog.

  Alternatively I can change your domain mapping upgrade into a sub-domain mapping, so it would be something like blog.verduska.pt. If that is what you want then make sure to create a CNAME record (like “blog” or something else) on your domain and point it to your WordPress.com address (verduskadotcom.wordpress.com).
