Map an existing domain, misleading with price plan

    I am starting my own portfolio site. But I find your price plans misleading. I see that with the Personal price plan you get a custom domain name which is a great for someone like me starting out. But when I try to upgrade to use my already registered domain using ‘Map an existing domain.’ I get automatically sent to the premium price plan, and not an option to the personal one. Why is this?

    I think the instructions tell you to add your domain name and then add an upgraded plan. This seems to result in the Premium plan always being selected. From reading earlier threads by people with this issue staff always advise them to just go ahead and purchase the Personal plan first. That results in a domain credit being placed in their basket. Then they can proceed and use that domain credit to map a domain they own .

    If you want to confirm this with staff before going ahead then add modlook to the tag box on the right and staff should be able to assist you in due course.
