I added a new DNS Zone record for your domain. This change may take a little while to be fully effective. Could you give it some time then try updating the name servers again?
You can go to Store > Domains on your blog’s dashboard and follow the steps there.
Please take a look at the following guide before going through the process.

Hi, thank you for this, I did follow the steps and purchased the 13 dollars and made bacalaojokull.es as main domain, but nothing :/ . Now I called my host and he directed me differently, said that he told me to unlink the WordPress to bacalaojokull.es then he did something and I have to wait 24h but after that just take the index.html (index.php in this case) and put it in the ftp of bacalaojokull.es … so my question is… how do i get the index.php… where can i download it from or extract it?

Now I called my host
you might be in the wrong forum trying to do the wrong thing –
If you want to have your blog here – bacalaojokull.wordpress.com. look like bacalaojokull.es when visitors come to your site – then you need to follow the instructions of kardotim above –
If you have a different host – then you need to map bacalaojokull.es to the different host (not WordPress.COM) –
Note: there is a difference between registering your name and the host – most registrars also do hosting also.
If you are changing index files then you are talking about something that is done with a WordPress.ORG install not a WordPress.COM blog
So we need a bit more info to make sure we give you accurate help
