mapping a .co.uk domain

Hello
Would it be possible to transfer a non-WordPress .co.uk domain to WordPress?
The current site that I want to move (and develop) is vitrage.co.uk, it is currently hosted with HostGator. It also has email addresses attached to it, such as (email visible only to moderators and staff)
Wherever I look in support topics, I can only ever find information on .com domains, so any information would be appreciated.

You can’t transfer a domain name to WordPress.COM – you can map your domain name to a blog here.
You can do email with your old host (some assembly and grumping usually required and you still need to pay your old host but usually at a reduced rate) or you can do email with Google Aps (some no cost options and some paid options) and have an email that matches your domain name

Oh no, what I meant is that I wanted to transfer something.co.uk to WordPress.co.uk – sorry if I did not make that clear. Would it be possible, or would it be easier to set up a redirect from the old address (as the hosting there runs till next July) and eventually move to .com one (if it’s available)?
