Mapping a domain using an IP address

We currently have a domain name registered with 1and1. This domain name is currently being used for just email benefits. We would, however like to use this domain for this website however to do so instead of using nameservers (which would alter the ability to use email) we need to direct our domian to wordpress via IP (A record and AAAA record) is this possible?
