Mapping Domain

  Hi,

  I would like to know why I’m having issues mapping my domain to use with wordpress as my CMS for free? Have terms changed. All the research I have done says I should be able to use it for free. I already have a domain name through DoDaddy and will be getting BlueHost. Is it that I need to have both before using wordpress without a cost?

  Hi there, If you are going to use your domain name registered at GoDaddy with the WordPress open source software hosted at BlueHost, you should be asking BlueHost support for assistance. You don’t need to map your domain or buy any upgrade here on WordPressdotcom for this.

  If you ever want to host your custom domain here to use on a WordPressdotcom website, you will need to purchase a plan to do so.
