  i tried mapping my existing domain and got this message: DNS needs to be updated

  can you help?

  It looks like your domain is not pointing to WordPress.com name servers yet:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/?host=miles4water.com

  Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  ok. i changed to those (to ns1, ns2 etc) and i am using miles4water.info. (a second domain, not .com) when i try that address it goes to godaddy. Can you help me get it right?

  I am seeing http://miles4water.info/ point correctly to your WordPress.com site.

  It can take 24-48 hours for domain/DNS changes to propagate throughout the internet. It typically happens faster than that, but it really depends on your ISPs update frequency. If you are still not seeing the correct site appear after 48 hours has elapsed, please contact me again.
