Hi, I am trying to map my blog to a domain I own, and it is giving error and not proceeding further. Please help me out. The domain I want to map to is thingsinside.com

Hi,
Yes, we are trying to map my blog to the domain i own. The blog name is : https://thingsinsideweb.wordpress.com/ and the domain is thingsinside.com. When i try to map the domain in wordpress its giving me the error ” This domain cannot currently be mapped.” I have spoke to the domain company and everything is fine from their end. Please let me know how i can get past this. Thank you so much for your help!

I was able to map thingsinside.com for you. You’ll still need to do a few things:
1) Purchase the subscription here by renewing:
https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades2) If you haven’t done so already, point the domain to our name servers:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.com3) After giving that a few hours to take effect, set the domain as primary under https://wordpress.com/my-domains

Well, it looks like you added the mapping upgrade to a site that is now deleted, insidethingscom.wordpress.com. I do not know if that had anything to do with it, but there isn’t any error that I see elsewhere. It could be that you did nothing wrong and something went wrong on our end.
