Mapping domain, didn't work on wordpress.com side.
-
I emailed on 1/17, but haven’t recieved a response. I attempted to map my domain to my blog. http://www.simplelifegoodlife.com to http://www.2redbackpacks.wordpress.com. Everything appeared to work on the godaddy.com side of the equation. When I clicked on the radio button to make http://www.simplelifegoodlife.com my main domain address at wordpress.com, the site went down! Please help!!!!
Thank you,
Kaci Yoh

Howdy,
Could you please try mapping your domain again, making sure that it’s selected as your primary domain?
It may take a few hours for the change to take full effect.

I tried this. It seemed to work when I clicked on the link from Store-Domains, but then when I typed http://www.simplelifegoodlife.com into the web browser, the link no longer worked. I checked everything on the godaddy.com side and it seems fine. The problem started after I paid for mapping my domain and went to Store-Domains and clicked on the radio button next to simplelifegoodlife.com. What next?

By “the link no longer worked,” I mean the same thing happened as what has been happening for the last 2 days.
What next?

Can someone please help me? I have been patient, but my site has been down for 3 days???? Had I known this was a risk and I wouldn’t receive timely support, I would not have paid for mapping, just paid more to move the site somewhere else. What gives?

Hi there,
I’m able to see your site just fine at http://simplelifegoodlife.com
Sometimes it can take little while for domain changes to take full effect across the internet.
If you still can’t see your site, you might try resetting your router and any other network devices you’re using.
You might also try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies:
