mapping domain from yola.com

    I have read every support ticket on mapping a domain 15 times, and the answer isn’t there. I have gone into the domain advanced settings on yola, changed the nameservers (I had to put in IP addresses too), but to no avail – my domain will NOT point to my website. And now I can no longer even preview the site while I am building it, b/c it just takes me to yola’s page that says “your domain is pointing to yola.com, but you haven’t published it yet.” Yola will not answer my requests for support. Please advise – thanks!

    Hi there,

    I checked your settings and visited your site, and your domain extonbillingsolutions.com is correctly pointed to your WordPress.com site. However, it is not set as the primary domain on your site, so your free WordPress.com address is still appearing in the address bar.

    You can set your domain extonbillingsolutions.com as the primary domain for your site under Store > Domains in your dashboard. We have more information about how to do that here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domains-settings/#changing-your-primary-domain

    Please note that whenever you change your domain settings, it can take some time (sometimes up to 72 hours) for the changes to take full effect. In the meantime, you may see your old site when you visit your domain. If you have any questions about this, please let me know!
