  I bought my domain through google (hosted by goDaddy) and use gmail for my company email. If I transfer or my domain to wordpress will that affect my company email run on gmail?

  Hi @staticaresearch, you’re welcome to use Gmail here. You’ll just want to ensure the settings copy over properly before changing your name servers.

  Also, I don’t know whether GoDaddy does this, but generally speaking if you bought Gmail through another host as part of a plan, it’s possible to have that transferred so you’ll pay Google directly.

  Lastly, you can map the domain here, leaving the registration itself at GoDaddy, or transfer and then point it to our name servers. You’re welcome to choose whichever option makes the most sense to you.
