mapping domains and top bar
-
Hi there,
I am wondering if the top bar containing ‘my site’ ‘reader’ ‘write’ and the user icon as well as the notification bell icon will disappear from public view once I upgrade to a paid plan?
Also, when I map my domain, or transfer a domain I already own, will it still display a .wordpress extension on my webadress, or will my website be visible at just my domain name?
Also, how long will it take for a domain mapping to be funcitional?
Also, how long will it take for a new domain I buy though wordpress to be functional?
Also, how long will it take for a domain I already own to be moved and functional at wordpress?Thank you
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The Admin Bar that is at the top of your site belongs to the person viewing your site. If I go to your site, that admin bar is mine. That means you are wanting to hide something of mine. Anyone going to your site while logged into WordPress.com is seeing their own Admin Bar, not yours.

The .wordpress.com address will be hidden and all traffic will automatically be redirected to your custom domain.

It usually takes a few hours for the DNS changes to fully update all around the internet.
Also, how long will it take for a new domain I buy though wordpress to be functional?
When you complete the registration, the domain will be up and running instantly.
Also, how long will it take for a domain I already own to be moved and functional at wordpress?
It takes five to seven days.
If you have any other questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.
