mapping new WordPress links to old links
-
Hi, I am redesigning my website to a WordPress website, but the earlier websites links are present all over the internet. For example: http://www.doamin.com/page.htm etc. Now new website in wordpress will not have such URLs. So, is there any way to not show a 404 error to users when they reach such urls, and the wordpress website shows specified new WordPress based page on these legacy URLs. So that user does not get a 404 error, and sees the new page. Please note: I do not want to redirect page to new URL as of now, because I fear I will lose search engine ranking of existing URLs if I redirect the page to new URL. But in future I might redirect pages.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I want user to see new wordpress based pages of my website, but without redirection. That means, the new page is shown but keeping the URL same as old one, instead of completely redirecting to new URL.
